We were started by reputable, ethical businesses in 1912 -- Originally to correct advertising abuses, then later expanded to monitor business performance and to provide information on business activities.  We enlist companies of all sizes and in all industry segments to abide by voluntary initiatives that support and encourage marketplace integrity, business ethics and reliability.

Together with our supporters, sponsors and members we work towards creating a community of trustworthy businesses; setting standards for marketplace trust; encouraging and supporting best practices; celebrating marketplace role models; and denouncing substandard marketplace behavior.
